This month Kutlwano visits one of the local clothing Brand Company simply called All Kasi. The brand All Kasi is owned by Tsa Gae (PTY) Ltd, a wholly citizen owned company producing some of the country’s best known and most stylish fashion designs for the world to see.
1. What inspired you to get into fashion design industry?

The desire to create a clothing identity for the youth of Bats warn, because at the time we started there was no local clothing brand thai represented Botswana.
2. When did you start your basiness?
We started operating in August 2000.
3. Where did you get finance to start your business?
Hi? were helped and’funded by CEDA to start the All Kasi project.
4. Why did vou choose the name All Kasi?
5. What are the ups and downs of running a clothing company?
The biggest challenge is getting the materials. Quality and nice materials are in South Africa and it is taxing for us to cross the border to get materials.

We take our work seriously by being hands on, on everything we design and that keeps our creativity side alive all the time. We also work as a team and collectively we are able to produce outstanding designs.
8. Which market are you targeting?
Our merchandises are mostly targeting the youth because they are youthful and urban glamour. We also target tourists because our products have graphic prints representing Botswana therefore our j,, brand is a good souvenirs for visiting

9. How best can you describe your designs?
Our designs are unisex, vibrant, urban glamour designs inspired by the local vibe, nature, music, people and the streets we walk. We also strive to represent the energy aiul the spirit of young Batswana of today.
10. What basiness advice and inspiration can you give to young entrepreneurs?
Trust your instincts. Be prepared for rejection hut never quit on something you want.
